Broome Angling Society

Welcome to the 2008/2009 season at Broome Angling Society, Leicestershire's premier angling club. The club has over nine superb waters and with membership starting from only £22.00 per year it is affordable for everyone. All be it, pleasure, specimen hunting or match fishing, our club caters for them all. 

 The club's Junior section is committed to helping youngsters of all ages and abilities with qualified instruction from certified instructors who have all been passed to work with children.  We hold junior matches and teach-ins at various times of the year with trophies and prizes for those taking part.

 Matchmen are catered for with weekly matches all year round at various venues.  These matches can be fun or as competitive as you want to make them with optional pools and trophies to be won.

 Our lakes are full of various large fish and many members enjoy trying to bag the specimen fish each season.  We have a big fish list and again, trophies are awarded each season to the captor of the biggest fish of each species.

 We will be endevouring to keep all the match results entered by, at the latest, the tuesday after the match. Please look in even if you are not a matchman, it will give you an upto date view of how the lakes are fishing. If you have any good catches to report, stories to tell or pictures you think would look good on the website then please send them in to webmaster@broomeanglingsociety.com

 Remember it is your website, whether you are a Broome matchman, specimen hunter, pleasure fisherman or even if you like to just spend time watching your float whilst listening to the birdsong and letting the pressures of life take a backseat for a couple of hours....we will be trying to bring something of interest to you through these pages.
